Summary of Dead Birds Tested for West Nile Virus From April 27, 2001 to October 29,2001

[Due to limited resources, West Nile Virus testing will be limited to corvids (blue jays and crows) and raptors on a statewide basis. Testing will be expanded to include other species in parishes that have a West Nile Virus positive specimen. All specimens not tested immediately will be frozen and tested at a later date.]
